Black Magic 4K Raw you can take for 20 mins / 40 mins for 256 GB/512 GB Camera. In MOV HQ format, we can take for 40 mins/ 80 Mins. Choose one of Compressed CinemaDNG RAW and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) BMPC-4K “4K” (10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes HQ, and especially 12-bit RAW) recordings contain the greatest amount of natural detail overall Highlights: - IRIS, Focus, Bottom review clips buttons. For IRIS and Focus to work, lens must be active lens. - Single tap to edit metadata about scene, reel etc during review clips. - Double tap on live view, will zoom in to aid focus. - Front record button redundant - If you buy an f/1.4 or T1.3 lens, its best performance is likely at f/2.8 When zoomed in higher apperture is OK. On wide, higher apperture is difficult. - Smaller f number e.g. 1.4 is bigger apperture. - You have focus ring and apperture ring. - Focus ring better have distance marking -- easier to rely instead of only screen view. - Set ISO 400 for least noise. - You may get black sun problem, that can be fixed in POST. Overexposing does not kill the whole shot. - Set zebra to 90% or so. - Check with color pallette for calibrating in Post later. Useful for whitebalance. Set to 4500K. That seems to be native. Display must be in Video mode to easily judge white balance. - Best to use IRIS button for setting aperture. On Film mode, this protects all pixels. On video mode it is centered around average lighting so there will be some clipping of pixels. - Shutter angle set to 180 degrees. Lower the degrees, fasterthe shutter speed. Less light, but less motion blur. 180 degrees allows 1/48th second of shutterspeed exposure for single frame. -
