* Ensure hbase-site.xml has a hbase.dynamic.jars.dir property for which 
  geowave-hbase-0.9.8-apache.jar should be in the directory.
  The rpm puts it there or you can do it manually
  Alternatively --coprocessorJar can be used to point to it on hdfs

* The dynamic jars property may not work in later hbase versions.
